Welcome to the LFcutpolyTool.mel release/support thread!

DESCRIPTION:
This script "splits" (extracts and seperates) two objects based on the selected edges.

INSTALLATION:
Place this file into your scripts directory.

For Windows your path should most likely be...
"C:\Documents and Settings\*user*\My Documents\maya\7.0\scripts\LFcutpolyTool.mel"

For the Mac your path should most likely be...
"Library\Preferences\Alias\maya\7.0\scripts\LFcutpolyTool.mel"

USAGE:
Select an edge loop to define the origin of the split and execute the script either by sourcing it (type LFcutpolyTool) OR by running it from a shelf button (reccommended).

PLEASE NOTE:
This script only works on polygonal objects for obvious reasons.

DOWNLOAD:
windows osx LFcutpolyTool v1.0 (mel script)

Cheers,
Landis
