This section contains computer generated (CG) 3D artwork, some of which launched my career. Below you will find a list of professional work I have contributed to as well as some personal work ( old and new). There is CG/3D work in the Animation, News, and Forum sections of the site as well.

Packard

This is one of many automobiles from a personal modeling project I am doing on the side for fun. Its basically a small part of San Francisco in 1937. This particluar model is of a 1934 Packard Twelve Convertible.

Trolley

This ofcourse is another model I have completed for the San Francisco project discussed above. It will eventually be loaded down with people that consist of family, friends, and fellow artists.

WORM

A 6 month collaborative short film project with Roger Ridley (environment modeler), Shannon Thomas (truck modeler), and my wife (producer).

AIRMAN

What can I say...this is my baby. I have been working on him ever since a deployment to the desert just after September 11th. I just recently finished completely resurfacing him inside of Maya so keep checking for updates.

Brox (AIRMAN's Friend)

Supporting character (Brox) for the AIRMAN project all made in the free opensource 3D application Blender. The hair on Brox was made using "Beast" (a hair/ fur simulation system developed by a programmer from the Blender community and myself). More information on Beast can be found in the resources section.

SelfPortrait

This is a digital self portrait that served as modeling study which I conducted in order to improve my topology skills which included teaching myself the art of "edge looping". All made in the free opensource 3D application Blender.

Pottery

This was a material study I conducted in order to prepare myself for the texturing of the self portrait model. The taller vase on the right was the one I modeled for use in a tutorial I worte for issue 46 of 3D World magazine. All made in the free opensource 3D application Blender.

Fetus

This was yet another material study I conducted in order to attempt to achieve (fake) the look of translucency or "sub surface scattering" in Blender through the use of custom shaders and as very little post proccessing as possible. All made in the free opensource 3D application Blender.

AIRMAN (environments)

Supporting scenes and props for the AIRMAN project all made in the free opensource 3D application Blender.
