San Francisco 1937

Well, with all 0f the spare time that I don't have I thought I would announce my next personal project. As the title of this post suggest I am modeling a small section of San Francisco in 1937. People, cars, and even pigeons! All of the characters in the scene will consist of family, friends, and fellow artists. As of right now I have myself in 1937 attire (no hair yet), a 1934 Packard automobile, and of course the trolley. For more info visit the project thread in the forum (http://www.landisfields.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=612#612) . In other news, my wife Anna, Carrie, Roger, and myself attended an exclusive Orphanage screening of "The last Mimzy". It was great to see my shot on the big screen in all of its glory. Last but not least my lovely wife Anna just got her first job in the industry as a Production Coordinator and needless to say we are very grateful. Ok, I have kept you all away from your busy lives long enough. Take care and as always thanks for stopping by.

Wonder Con + New Script!

Hey everyone! Its been a while since my last post. Everything has been going great at work, I am really lucky to be getting my hands on multiple things which is awesome. I recently got a chance to check out the wondercon comic book convention here in san fran and man was it cool. I picked up a small statue of the human torch for my desk...not the one I worked on but the old school one. Its pretty cool. Speaking of cool I uploaded another script in the forum
( http://www.landisfields.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=158 ). Its an image plane toggle script which is fairly common in the vfx industry, however, I wrote this one because all the ones that I have used in the past would clear my current selection/tool, so, LFtoggleImagePlane allows you to toggle all image planes on the fly while preserving your current component selection/s. Pretty simple but nice. Intended for use while modeling or working with files from matchmove that have image sequences that need to be refered to but do not need to be on at all times. Anyways, enjoy. More to come soon so keep checkin' in.
