New Job at LucasFilm Animation!

The title of this post says it all. I am VERY happy to announce that I will be joining an extremely talented team of people at LucasFilm Animation. I start in two weeks at the legendary Lucas Ranch (which is probably one of the most beautiful places to visit let alone work). As you can see from the current project listing on the company website, I will be working on the StarWars Clone Wars Series. For more information on the company visit www.lucasfilm.com. For information on the project itself (and for a sneak peek) visit www.StarWars.com. In other news, for all of you modelers out there, I should have a new version of the LFdrawpolyTool done very soon! Thats right! Version 1.5 is on the horizon! In addition, I have a couple of other tools slated for release as well, however, now that I have all of your hopes up, I really need to spend some time on a model that I have been wanting to do for some time now before the new job kicks in...so... unfortunately the tools must go on the back burner... atleast for the next couple weeks. Well, that about sums it up for now, must get some sleep. As always, thanks for stopping by and be sure to check in for updates throughout the week.

Congrats again on the new gig, I'm so happy for you. And working on Star Wars, not too shabby. How long is your contract? Say hello to Ty Chen for me.

Congratulations Landis! Hope things are going well at the Ranch. No updates since? I guess you're even busier than you thought. ;-)
I haven't seen any signs that anybody else back at Blender has noticed yet, now that you've abandoned us all for Maya (sniff!) but I'll let you decide whether to BlenderNation know... if you want all the traffic though here :)
Thanks for keeping those Blender tutorials online!
