GKR, WORM, Birthday.

Well, my time with GKR is officially up. I love GKR and the fact that they let you specialize in multiple phases of the production. I will never forget the wonderful and talented people that I had the oppertunity to work with especially Adam. Speaking of which if you go to the MIMZY website you can see a shot that Adam and I worked on together. Its the one with the childs hands out in front of the camera while a bridge is being built. I did the planet earth/stars in the background (will be MUCH more aparent in the full shot of the film) and he did the galaxy in the sky as well as look developement for the bridge assembly. Lately I have been scrambling to catch up on all of my school work and...well...just life in general. Thanks to Brad's post in the forum I remembered to share some cool news with all of you....I recently found out that the WORM is being broadcasted through a partnership between the Academy of Art and Comcast for the month of December. Just go to Channel 888/ Entertainment /Animated Shorts. Pretty cool! In other news Tom's Book will be out shortly so start saving now so you can pick up a copy. Its called the Maya 8 Complete Reference. You can find it on Amazon already. The WORM is on the cover and will also be featured inside the book along with the Trolley. Last but not least I would like to thank all my buds for stopping out on my birthday. My wife sent out an evite to all the people she had emails for. We met in Golden Gate Park to take HDRI's with the new mirrored ball she got me for my birthday....I know...I know...I am a total geek. Anyways, I had a blast so thank you all for stopping by and thanks to my wife for organizing the whole event as well as for being the most wondferful/supportive person on the planet. Ok, thats all I got. Back to my finals.
