Good Times...

Man has alot happened. First off the internship is going great. Kristen has been showing me all the tricks. Last week my wife and I flew back home to Michigan for my sisters High school graduation and man did I have some fun with my family. It was hard not to be able to spend that much time with them but it was definately better than not going at all. I also got to see my uncle Tim's work (Dan Henry Distributing) which was very cool. My Dad and my uncle Randy were a hoot as usual. My dads business just got voted number one business in Lansing...congrats dad! My uncle Den came over after my sisters open house and hung out with us which was really nice and my uncle Tim even suprised us at the airport to see us off! Its sad that there isnt any studios around my family but it is something that I am learning to deal with. The nice thing is that returning home to San Fransisco truly felt good. My wife and I grow closer and closer all the time. I think we are both kinda going through the same thing. On a lighter note this week has been going very well at work...I am getting to know people more which is nice...getting past that weird uncomfortable stage where a collegue and I will stand there looking at eachother without anything to say since we dont know anything about one another. LOL. Too funny. The stories about how people got into the industry have been just fascinating to me. There are some remarkable people that have all pretty much just landed in the same spot. I guess thats life in general. Adam told me his mother would say something about the river taking you but still being able to paddle around obstacles...man did I just masacre that quote but basically it was a good one. Well, thats all I got for now. Time once again to get some sleep. I told Clint at work today that he better get ready because I am going to be buggin' him next week when school starts with mel scripting questions. I forsee me buying alot of lunches. No seriously he's cool and use to teach 3D so I think he's secretly looking forward to it.

Internship...

I am very tired and must get some sleep but I just wanted to let everyone know that I really appreciate all the emails and comments. The internship is absolutley amazing. Working at Giant Killer Robots is everything I could have imagined and then some. Everyone is very nice and extremely helpful. I cannot tell you how much I have learned in the last 2 days. The 2 people I work with (Kristen and Clint) are awesome. The day goes so fast. Ok, enough tired jibberish out of me...must get some sleep. I promise I will post something a little more entertaining tommorow.
