Spring Show!
The award ceremony for the Academy Spring Show was a couple of days ago and I placed in all 3 categories that I submitted to! The WORM took 3rd place for short film, the WORM rig took 3rd place, and finally the WORM texturing submission took 1st! Everyones work was spectacular. It was a real honor to be a finalist with the rest of the artists. Check out my latest demo reel for some of the work from my spring show submissions as well as animation from my PIXAR class...

Nice man, your reel's looking sick. I was thinking that if you wanted I would show Rhythm your stuff.
A buddy of mine wanted to know if you used stepped curves on the eye movement?
Keep up the amazing work.
I am glad to hear that you like it. It feels good to finally update the ol' girl. Anyways, yeah, feel free to share it with whoever...just be sure to let me know what they think. As for the eye darts no, they are not technically stepped keys...everything is spline...its just that on the eyes I convert the curves to weighted tangents and pull the knots in nice and tight so it resembles a linear curve...basically a manual hold till they dart to the next position...eyes are kinda funny like that....they lock on to one thing and dart to the next only to lock onto that as well...ironically its a natural contrast to the smooth arcing of the head...funny how things are like that. But anyways thanks again for your kind words.
congratulations, you deserved it!
*raises tip of the hat towards landis*
cheers! :)
Thanks Shiv!
