It's done!
Ohhhh yeah! I have just finished my first short film. The whole Worm team really pulled through. My wife even had to bust out a couple of "all nighters" herself. In the end it was ofcourse totally worth it to see the look on peoples faces when they were watching it. Unfortunately I cannot post it on the site due to various film festival rules. Bah! The good news is that I am pretty sure its cool to show some beauty shots here and there so as soon as my wife gets the go-ahead on that I will start posting. Until then keep checking in.
In other news, the Digital Art Masters book is about to hit the shelves some time this month so be on the look out for my section regarding my work on the AIRMAN and WORM. Lastly, Shannon Thomas (a buddy of mine who built the truck on WORM) just got picked up by Rythym & Hues this week! We were all very excited to see him drive off into the moon light last night after our celebration/good bye dinner but I have to say its a little sad to see the first of many more to fly from the nest...its what I had anticipated all along and it's ultimately a good thing but sad nonetheless. The cool thing is that I am almost certain that we will all end up working together on a project in the future...atleast thats my hope...whether from the same studio or not. I dont know, to me its all about the journey's you take and who you take them with...thats what truly dictates what you get from it in the end...not the materialistic aspects of the job (such as pay, recognition, etc.) but the experience you walk away with...we have all agreed that you just cant put a price on that. I just hope we all find what we are looking for...If not then I am sure we will all get together and ceate it. LOL. Anywho, I wish the Shan-ster the best of luck in is endeavors...I know he will do great....oh...and I hope that he doesnt get too many speeding tickets in his brand new dream car. If your reading this man well done. Ok, enough jibber jabber, back to work for me...I got a ton of homework to catch up on and then on to that dreaded inbox of mine...I got unanswered emails coming out of my ears....this project pretty much detached me from reality for about 6 months. LOL. Take care everyone and keep checking in for WORM eye candy.

Hey bud! Thanks for the wishes. Everything is going great here in L.A. R&H is just oo much fun. It was such a pleasure working with you guys on the WORM and I know that we will all be working together again in a short time. As for working together in the industry, well that is only a matter of time.
Landis,
congradulations on getting the short film done and Im sure it looks good. Have a great spring break and I will see you in the labs.

Kristoff,
Thanks. Yeah it turned out pretty good. The greatest thing accomplished is that it is done. It is a very big deal to finish someting especially in this industry. I know alot of talented guys who have loads and loads of works in progress which is great but then no one ever gets to see it. Sharing our work with others is one of the best parts of doing what we do. I dont know. Right now I am in the process of finally breathing life into the AIRMAN. I always said that I would use the WORM as my ginnie pig so that I wouldnt harm the AIRMAN with newbie hands. At this point the WORM has taught me what works and what doenst...what to do and what not to do. I feel I am as ready as I wil ever be to roll up my sleeves with my baby. I know that may sounds crazy to do a short in order to get warm up for another but you have to understand...the AIRMAN is my Mickey Mouse. Anyways, thanks again man and I will be looking for you in the labs. Take care and good luck with the breakdancer and the devil/heaven piece.
