WORM Published!

I just finished rendering out a beauty pass of Inch for his debut in the Digital Art Masters book! He will be making a guest appearance somewhere in the middle of the AIRMAN's "making of" section....the little guy isn't even finished yet and he is already stealing the AIRMAN's thunder! LOL. Anyways, I will be uploading it to the publishers server in the next couple of hours. Other than that I am crunching to get s turntable render done for the spring show as well as the tutorial AND finals. Geesh! Somebody wake me up when its all over!

Animation Show!

My wife and I attended the animation show last nite and it was great. We were both in need of a break....her from supportng the two of us and I from finals. So, we drove about an hour to a small theatre in San Jose that was showing a collection of shorts that toalled about an hour all for one ticket. It was really nice. Plymptons work was great and opened the nite. I also liked Don Hertzfelt's pice as well but I would have to say that the most original pice was about a guy that had a radio for a head and couldnt muster up the strength to put in the right tape when the girl he liked was around. She also had a radio for a head. Anyways I wont ruine it for you but it was really nice. Well thats about all I got. I am crunching away at finals as well as on an instructional piece for the animation department regarding the scanning in of traditional sculptures for resurfacing and animation. Alot on my plate but I am getting there. The worms rig is coming along great but more on that soon.

PlayBall!

Hey everyone! My wife and I went to our first SanFrancisco Giants baseball game this friday. Amazing! My roots are in detroit (good ol' tigers) but I will admit that I had ALOT of fun. It is by far the nicest stadium I have ever stepped foot in (and that includes the palace). The giants won which was nice. They played the Oakland A's. I dont follow along with sports much anymore but I knew enough to enjoy the game. We also sat right on the field...man the seats were shweeet! There were 2 guys in front of us that worked for apple so twards the end we were talking up a storm mostly about the PSP. Well, thats all I got. Time to stat my homewrok. Making a Zoetrope for my experimental animation class.
