So Much News!

Man oh man has alot happened. I am just NOW getting the net at the new house. Up until today I have been using the PSP for everything...my wife was even using that little sucker for our finances! Its awesome...would have made an excellent commercial for it, however, I am very happy to have the internet back on my pc's. Dont think I didnt here the news about Alias being acquired by Autodesk though...word gets around pretty quick at the Academy...I knew something was up when I saw all of the 3DSMAX guys walking around with sinister like smiles on their faces. Bastards. LOL. As with most of the sheep I just hope the interface stays the same (or gets "better"). In other news, the Airman AND the WORM are in full force. I am basically rigging the Airman for one class while completely finishing the entire short for the WORM in another! I have been trying to do similar tasks simultaneuosly (ie texturing the characters) for both projects. Keeps my mind fresh. As of right now Inch is completly modeled and the AIRMAN's hand articulation is fully rigged...as for everything else, here is this week's list of whats curently going on in my little world...

AIRMAN

- Wrappinmg up rigging of the base skeleton
- Making THAT skeleton (or another) MOCAP compatible (more on this very soon)
- Wrapping up UV layout
- Texturing the jacket

WORM

- Nailing down the texture of the old board (almost done with that)
- Laying out Uv's for Wiggly and cleaning up the ones on Inch
- Cleaning up storyboards
- Blocking out particular shots using boxes in 3d (composition brainstorming)

Phew. That about sums it up. Other than that I need to cram in some time for homework in my drawing classes. My next post should have a decent amount of eyecandy. As awlays take care and thanks for stopping by.

Anyways, glad to here everything is going okay for you in your classes. As for my 3D stuff, I've had to take a break, but I'll continue it again after I get a job in my new career.

ttyl!!

Oh... btw... i'm HoLyCoW over from 3dbuzz. I figured I'd use my blogger account (which I don't really use anymore since i switched to WP), but it's a tad bit easier when commenting on people's blogs.

redfriend/Mr.Howe,

LOL! Thanks man! I should have some stuff thats a little more interesting for ya' to look at soon! So what you been up to man?! Hows the wife doin'? Been back home recently?

Darrell/HoLyCoW,

Hey bud! Yeah, finally got to grinding away at my old mistakes in a new package. Alot went in just to getting to the point where I could actually implement "new" stuff. I pretty much had to build the entire character over again using the old model as a resurface reference (kinda like 3d tracing).

So whats the new career

The new career is Radiology. Not sure what I'm gonna specialize in though. I could do MRI, CAT Scan, Ultrasound, Cath Lab, or some other ones. Right now I'm leaning either towards Ultrasound or Cath Lab.
